This silver sugar skull bolo tie is my very best. It measures 1-1/2" long and 1" wide. The skull is cast in solid white bronze, then double plated in sterling silver that has been oxidized dark in the recesses to enhance the excellent intricate details of the deep floral scrolls through out the entire skull. The faceted cross on the forehead and centers of the floral decorated eye sockets reflect the light like little silver diamonds when the light hits them at the right angle. Depressing the lever on the back allows the skull to easily slide up and down the bolo cord without snagging. Simply release the lever to lock the skull in position. The black faux leather cord is evenly braided along it's entire 42" length and tastefully finished with 1-1/4" silver toned bolo tips at each end. No animals were harmed in the making of this piece.
